My work explores how memories and emotions circulate across physical spaces, systems, and temporalities. I’m drawn to heartache, nostalgia, and unstable collective realities: feelings that are not entirely one’s own, yet deeply felt. I treat fantasy as a structural necessity rather than an escape, using fiction to explore how subjects know themselves through what is missing, deferred, or impossible to revisit. Working with moving images, installation, and simulated media, I fragment and re-stage materials instead of presenting stable narratives. These works hover between estrangement and sincerity, using dark humor to frame heartache as a way of sensing time out of joint, and imagining what might have been otherwise.
